Between 1582 and 1589 John Dee recorded séances in which Edward Kelley reported angelic dictation, including letters, tables and a language said to predate Hebrew. Liber Loagaeth and the Heptarchia manuscripts preserve this material; the Golden Dawn later absorbed it into its ritual system.
Scholars still debate whether the language has a real grammar or is closer to glossolalia. The texts here are the primary records together with later reworkings.
