Hermeticism can feel impenetrable if you begin with the primary texts cold. This path starts with an accessible modern synthesis, builds the vocabulary and cosmology you need, and only then returns to the ancient sources so they read as revelation rather than riddle.
Each step names why the text belongs where it does. Read in order the first time; afterwards, treat it as a map you can wander.

The Path
Kybalion
A 20th-century primer. Not ancient, but it teaches the seven principles cleanly and gives you a scaffold for everything that follows.
Emerald Tablet
The single most famous Hermetic fragment. Short enough to memorise; “as above, so below” in its original setting.
Corpus Hermeticum
The primary source. Now that you have the vocabulary, the dialogues of Hermes and his disciples open up.
