The Kybalion

Attributed to the "Three Initiates," this short but influential text presents a modern exposition of Hermetic philosophy through the famous Seven Hermetic Principles. Historically important as a twentieth-century adaptation of Hermetic ideas, it offers readers a compact introduction to concepts such as mentalism, correspondence, vibration, polarity, rhythm, cause and effect, and gender.

The Three Initiates was the pseudonymous authorship credited to the influential occult work The Kybalion (1908). The text presented a synthesis of Hermetic philosophy for modern readers and became one of the most widely read introductions to Hermetic and occult thought in the twentieth century.
