Jewish mysticism and the Western Qabalah — the Tree of Life and its literature.
Kabbalah is the mystical current of Judaism, concerned with the hidden structure of divinity, creation, and the soul. Its central emblem is the Tree of Life, a diagram of ten sefirot through which the infinite (Ein Sof) unfolds into the created world.
The tradition’s great texts — the Sepher Yetzirah (Book of Formation) and the vast Zohar (Book of Splendor) — were later adapted by Renaissance Christian scholars and, in the nineteenth and twentieth centuries, absorbed into Western ceremonial magic as the “Hermetic Qabalah,” where it became the organising framework for Tarot, astrology, and ritual.
