"The Magic of Armadel," translated by S. L. MacGregor Mathers, is a grimoire associated with conjuration, angelic operations, and magical seals. S. L. MacGregor Mathers (Samuel Liddell MacGregor Mathers, 1854–1918) was a major British occultist and one of the founders of the Hermetic Order of the Golden Dawn. As a translator, he rendered several key magical and mystical texts into English, helping to make grimoires and esoteric sources available to modern occult readers.
