E. A. Wallis Budge (1857–1934) was a British Egyptologist, museum curator, and prolific translator whose editions of Egyptian funerary and religious texts became foundational in the study of ancient religion and occult reception. His publications helped popularize ancient Egyptian spirituality in both scholarly and esoteric circles.
