The Prophet

Gibran’s best-known work is a series of poetic discourses on themes such as love, work, freedom, sorrow, and spiritual life, framed as the farewell teachings of the sage Almustafa. Though not an occult manual, it has long been valued in esoteric circles for its universal spiritual ethic and contemplative symbolism.

Khalil Gibran (1883–1931) was a Lebanese-American writer, poet, and visual artist whose works blend spiritual reflection, philosophical aphorism, and mystical imagery. His best-known book, The Prophet, has had enduring influence in modern religious and contemplative literature.
