About Anna Kingsford
Anna Kingsford (1846–1888) was an English physician, vegetarian activist, and one of the notable women writers in nineteenth-century esoteric and occult circles. Her works, often produced in collaboration with Edward Maitland, expressed visionary, mystical, and theosophical ideas and contributed to feminist and spiritual reform currents.
