Valentin Weigel (1533–1588) was a German Lutheran pastor and mystical writer associated with interior piety and speculative spirituality. His works, circulated largely in manuscript during his lifetime, later influenced early modern theosophical and Pietist currents, especially through their emphasis on inward knowledge of God over external ecclesiastical forms.
