Samuel Sharpe

Samuel Sharpe (1799–1881) was an English biblical scholar, translator, and Egyptologist whose work focused on ancient texts and comparative religion. His translations and historical studies were important for the nineteenth-century reception of the Bible, Egyptian religion, and the wider study of ancient spiritual traditions.
