Surendranath Dasgupta (1887–1952) was an Indian philosopher and scholar of religion, best known for his multi-volume history of Indian philosophy. His work made major contributions to the study of Hindu, Buddhist, Jain, and Tantric traditions in a philosophical and comparative framework.
