Giovanni Pico della Mirandola (1463–1494) was an Italian Renaissance philosopher whose *Oration on the Dignity of Man* became a foundational text of Renaissance humanism. He also wrote on Kabbalah, magic, and the synthesis of philosophical traditions, making him important in the history of esoteric thought.
