Jiddu Krishnamurti (1895–1986) was an Indian spiritual teacher and philosopher who rejected institutional religion and emphasized direct insight, freedom from conditioning, and self-inquiry. Although not an occultist, his early association with Theosophical circles and his later teachings made him highly influential in modern spiritual literature.
