Heinrich Cornelius Agrippa von Nettesheim (1486–1535) was a German Renaissance polymath whose writings became foundational for later Western occultism. His best-known work, the three books of De occulta philosophia, systematized magic, astrology, correspondences, and the occult virtues of nature, exerting a lasting influence on esoteric thought.
