Hellmut Ritter (1892–1971) was a German Orientalist and editor whose scholarship made major contributions to the study of Islamic mysticism and classical Arabic and Persian literature. His editorial and philological work helped make significant Sufi and philosophical texts more accessible to modern scholarship.
