Gerald Massey

Gerald Massey (1828–1907) was an English poet and self-taught scholar whose later work moved into comparative mythology, Egyptology, and religious origins. His writings argued for symbolic and mythic continuities across ancient religions, and he became a notable if controversial figure in Victorian esoteric and comparative-religious thought.
