Miguel de Molinos (1628–1696), often referred to as Michael de Molinos in English, was a Spanish mystic and author of the influential spiritual treatise The Spiritual Guide. His teaching on quietism stressed inward contemplation and passivity before God, and it became highly controversial within Catholic theology.
